Your Child's First Visit
Your child's first visit to our dental office can help them feel more comfortable visiting the dentist and allow us to observe any dental changes. We have found that informing your child about their first dental visit can help set the stage for a positive dental experience. We encourage parents to accompany their children during their visit. This provides an opportunity to see us working with your child and allows us to discuss dental findings and treatment needs directly with you.
During this visit, we will get to know your child and help them feel comfortable in the office by explaining what will happen during the visit and showing them the tools we will use to help keep their smile healthy. We will also discuss your child’s medical/dental health history, evaluate your child’s teeth and gums, and review proper dental hygiene instructions.
We look forward to meeting you and your child for your first appointment!
Your Baby's First Visit
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, every child should receive their first dental check-up between the ages of 6 months and 1 year. These visits introduce children to a dental setting and allow our team to address any dental concerns or questions that parents may have.
During your baby's first visit, we will perform your baby’s first oral examination and review infant oral hygiene instructions. In some cases, we will clean your baby’s teeth. The extent of the examination will depend entirely on you and your child’s comfort level.
We strive to provide an engaging and supportive environment and look forward to meeting you and your child!
